Water water everywhere
Work was closed yesterday due to a water main break.
They sent us home at 10am because we had no water. Something like 22 million gallons of the stuff ran down the streets until they could get the ancient valves closed. The pipes were first put in during early Roman times (actually it was 1897). In order to get the valves closed, they had
to turn them 800 times! They showed two guys running in a circle around the valve pushing a big t-handle wrench, kind of like the dance of the water fairies or something. Sadly, we are back at our desks today. Happily, it's the office holiday (don't say "Christmas") party today.

We saw that broken main gushing on tv... Did you guys break it just to get off work?
Sounds like a movie to me......
